Nyuto's HIking Tour through the Autumn Leaves in Beech Forest (October 10)

Kyukamura Nyuto Onsenkyo (休暇村乳頭温泉郷)is one of the seven hot spring inns located in Nyuto Hot Spring area. The hotel group, Kyukamura (National Park Resort Villages of Japan), has locations around the country in the national parks or quasi-national parks with modern facilities for your convenience during your stay.

Kyukamura Hotel in Nyuto Hot Spring Area has offered many outdoor activities and events for the visitors. Previously, they entertaine guest in sake events and outdoor concert events in the surrounding beech forest.

This Sunday, October 10, they invite you to a hiking event in the beech forest in the midst of beautiful foliage season!

With a volunteer guide, you will walk through the hot spring area in the autumn leaves. The forest is abundant with not only the orange beech leaves but some varieties of maple trees that show vibrant red.

WHEN: Sunday, October 10th. 2011.

SCHEDULE:

9:00 a.m. Meet and Sign Up at the Kyukamura Nyuto Onsenkyo Hotel Lobby.

9:30 a.m. Hiking Tour begins

(Route: Kyukamura, Karafuki-Shitsugen, Kuroyu, Magoroku, Okama, Taenoyu, to Kyukamura)

12:00 p.m. Lunch at Kyukamura Nyuto Onsen

13:00 p.m. Hiking Tour resumes

(Route: Kyukamura, Nyuto Campground, Tsurunoyu Canyon, Trusunoyu Annex Yamanoyado)

14:30 p.m. A bus will come pick you up at Yamanoyado

* Bring your own rainwear, walking/hiking shoes, and drinks.

FEE: 2,000Yen Per Adult (Includes Lunch, Bathing Tax, and Insurance)
