To support the Tohoku recovery, this museum has been organizing a special exhibition,Glass Exhibition of Flowers and Women” (花と女性のガラス展), started in April and continues until Monday, July 11th, 2011.

The exhibition features about 100 glass works of Rene Lalique, which have been selected focusing on its theme, “Flowers and Women,” for they have been traditionally employed in Art and Crafts as symbols of revitalization, recovery, growth, prosperity, and happiness –which, the curator believes, would become a hope for the people in this time of recovery.

“Flowers and Women” will continue until Monday, July 11, 2011. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. and closed on Thursdays. 800 Yen per adult.
